We've had this radio for about 10 months and have been very happy so far. The sound is good (great for a shower radio), it's easy to use and the screen is clear. I didn't give this five stars because AM stations don't come through that well (but we live in the mountains and the first shower radio we tried couldn't pick up AM at all). I also wish that it were more compact, but it's a worthwhile trade-off for good performance.

I also bought this from target.com. It is small, compact abd fits in our rather smal bathroom very well. The sound is great and I have had no problrms. I plan to buy a second radio for our other bathroom. Great Buy.

I bought this from Target.com a week ago and put it to use right away. It replaces a cheap shower radio that always sounded muffled.
The size is equivalent to about two shampoo bottles and with 3 “C” batteries; it’s hefty as far as portable radios go. The buttons are big with good tactile response for use with wet fingers. I’m on the fringe of both AM and FM radio stations. This radio pulls in the AM stations and powerful FM stations without a problem. The digital tuning allows you to find the right station instead of trying to guess with an analog tuner. Plus, you can save 10 FM stations and 5 AM stations so tuning becomes a non-issue after setting it up. It uses a wire FM antenna which can be tucked into the battery compartment or stretched out using an included suction cup to hold it in place on the shower tile in order to get that favorite, low power, suburban alternative rock station.
So far, so good.

I love this radio. I have 2. One in the shower, and one in the kitchen. I love that I can just push a button and get the station I want. I hate shower radios with the dial to turn to tune in a station. Also, this one sounds really good, and it lasts, I have had both for over 2 years and they still are like new. Its cool that it have TV stations you can listen too also, but I usually only do the radio, but it is nice to have. It takes 3 c batteries, and they last a long time too.

I first bought this radio three years ago from an upscale retailer. It lasted for a year, and then the radio wouldn't play, so I had to return it. (Thanks for the lifetime guarantee, Hammacher Schlemmer!) The next one lasted for another year when the radio again wouldn't play. And now, my third one broke. First, it started playing by itself, then the radio wouldn't work, and the tv band wouldn't turn off unless I took the batteries out. I looked everywhere for a radio with a tv band, but now it's time to part ways. It's a great radio when it does work- just don't count on it for more than a year.

I've had one of these for almost 9 years now. In fact it was so "amazing" when I got it that you could only get it from Frontgate and it cost almost $100 bucks. I've never had a single problem with it and its been soaked in water, soap all over it, etc. Only thing is the buttons wore down, but that just happened in the past year or so. Also comes in great handy when electricity goes out.
